Tale
Media expert Muncie Daniels must fight for his innocence and his life after a murder is discovered in the underworld. This is Colman Domingo’s first major TV role. Coleman Domingo will be my favorite actor. He can really turn reading a phone book into a compelling story. And it’s as compelling as The Madness is now. The dialogue is almost embarrassingly bad. They try so hard to be sharp and witty, but they come across as very predictable and trite. From the very beginning, there’s a lot about the story that defies the most basic common sense. I keep asking myself, “Why, why, why?!” So much so that I skipped episode 7 after episode 2 to see what happens at the end. I have no doubt that the episodes I skipped contain more than a lot of over-the-top storytelling and unnecessary dialogue.
