Territory 2024– WEB.10Bit New Episode Magnet
Coups threaten to destroy a fading dynasty
Tale
With no heir to the sprawling Lawson cattle station, rival factions in Australia see an opportunity to seize control. The series was filmed in the Northern Territory and South Australia, in locations so remote they are barely inhabited – let alone shown on screen.
This show is packed with incredible talent and the scenery is beautiful
Locations include the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park – with special permission from the traditional owners – and Tipperary Station, a real-life working cattle station so large it has its own airport and school. The plot is believable and easy to follow, but the characters are hard to like.
It was so hard to root for anyone
It wasn’t until episode 5 that any of them showed any signs of redemption. The whole premise of the show is tragedy after tragedy.
There’s not much balance between Hope and Despair
Episode 5 brings a sort of reunion, then bam… more tragedy. There are only 6 episodes and maybe episode 6 ties it all together, but to be honest, I was so deeply depressed after the first five episodes that I couldn’t stand it.
It wasn’t an enjoyable watch for me
I only enjoyed it because I’m a big fan of some of the actors.
